It's like driving by an incredibly horrible accident, you know you shouldn't stare but you just can't look away. I thought the Lizard Burst RWG Custom was the most audacious and over the top guitar I had. This Wolf WLP 750T however has me mesmerized and literally laughing out loud both at it and myself for considering even for a NYC minute actually buying it:

I’d seen a righty version on AIO’s site but didn’t realize they had a lefty available. My eyes still hurt from the right handed version.
It’s going to take awhile to “unsee” this lol:expressionless:

I hate it and yet I can't take my eyes off it. I think this one has voodoo mojo.

I noticed that too lol. Somehow I thought you just might indicate that to me :ROFLMAO:.
Would I want to play that in public? Hmmm...

Goddamn, the folks over at Wolf must've harvested every sea snail in Korea for that thing. I'm a little bummed they didn't take this to the limit and just make the whole damn board out of abalone too :ROFLMAO:.

It's certainly gaudy as hell, but also undeniably beautiful in that the natural shell is really gorgeous. If it helps to save you the $800, the one you linked has a couple of less than well filled gaps between the various shell pieces, so I'd probably pass on this one even if I liked it.

I have, and am truly unsure how he's able to blatantly rip off Zemaitis like this and not get sued into oblivion...

Actually, just did some research and I guess they're friends...

I will be your voice of reason. Buy it. You found it which means you were looking for something and this is what you found.
Plus, you are like that friend who is impossible to buy Christmas presents for because they have everything. You have to buy it to maintain that status, or drop subtle hints to friends. Or is that what you are doing now?

I don't think you have a choice. It's like asking the craziest girl in high school to the prom even though there's a 99.89 % chance of it turning out very, very badly. Believe me brother..I wouldn't change my decision even if I could.

I think its excellently audacious. If I could snap my fingers and have one of my guitars turn into that finish, I would.

"The highest hanging guitar in the house."
Which reminds me of a scene in a movie where the camera pans to the Popes picture in a house, hanging above all the other pictures, then pans back more, and there is Elvis' picture hanging even higher.

However, the weight may be too much for me to enjoy, and does it play well? sound good? I might be better off to just hang a picture of it. Who really wants Elvis or the Pope actually living in their house ?

Speaking as a dude that loves Jem 777s and neon colours and other flashy guitars, that is a bit much.

Who isn't it too ornate (among other things) for? That's a huge part of what makes it so sickeningly compelling, at least to me...

Yeah, definitely Liberace if he had played guitar instead. It would have worked with some of the outfits Porter Wagoner wore. And Fee Waybill for the Tubes' "White Punks on Dope" stage routine:
