I haven't bought cables since before my accident in 2011 but I've finally arrived at the end of the line for cordage. Everything I have has been plugged in and out way to many times and now they crackle and pop and don't work at all so on and so on. I just bought the MF Stupid deal of the day a Quilter Labs MicroBlock 45
    To see it.

Anyway I thought I would buy a few 10 ft cables I've always used Rappco but they are $20 each I bought a $3.95 cable it fell apart in my amp that turned into a hour long repair so no more junk but is there a decent cable out there these days that don't cost an arm and a leg

That amp looks like a great deal . The Monoprice Cloth series cables are worth considering .

I saw that Quilter too, tempting.
i have a couple of cheap Musicians friend branded cables that are ok; I got an MXR brand cable that seems pretty beefy.

I only play at home in my basement; if I try to run around or jump or similar stage antics, I will surely get injured.
So, the cables dont get put to extremes.

So far these cables have held up the last few years of almost daily use.

The best cables that I have ever used (that I did not make myself) were "Whirlwind" brand.

I have a kirlin a pair of Musicians friend and a Monoprice. They all do ok around the house without out a lot of pull push on them. I do tend to use the kirlin and monoprice most out of habit as I have them strung out the way but handy to plug in. If I were buing today I'd probably pick the musicians friend over Monoprice just to save shipping,as they both work well for home.

@Mickey I used Whirlwinds back in the day good stuff had white shrink tubing on the plug if my memory is correct. I bought a KabelDirect 10 ft cable to try don't know anything about this brand but they sport a 36 month warranty so they are either really sure of them or they lied I guess I'll find out in a couple of days.
This is the cable I bought

Reverb. These don't seem bad for the price, and free shipping. 20ft for $9.99. I have a pair but as was said above, i don't do stage antics in my basement.

Major Tom, you are a rat bastard pile of shit.
My 1 year old tends to destroy cables if I leave them out, so I have cheapo free SX cables out all the time and I have a nice Gibson cable that was on deep deep clearance for nearly free with free points from using the Musicians Friend app when I want a "nice" cable. However, I wouldn't suggest it since it doesn't work with strats or teles.

The other nice cables I use are just bulk cable and 90° or straight plugs I bought in bulk a few years ago to get a Parts express order to be free shipping.

I had 1 of 2 fail with light use. Replaced the plugs and still using it years later.

All my cable are Live Wire. Lifetime warranty. I need a specific length cable with two 90 ends and no made them. I took a 15 foot Livewire cable and made 4. Super easy to modify. More than anything they just don't seem to fail.

Another vote for the Reverb cables. I have 4 and none ever given me any issues.

Seems like the Reverb Cable ship has sailed. Just looked and they're no where to be found.
