Eddie Haskell: Hey Wally, nobody's home. Let's call up some girls and pretend we're talent scouts.

June Cleaver: [Enters the room.] Hello, Eddie.

Eddie Haskell: Oh. Hi, Mrs. Cleaver. Gee Mrs. Cleaver, your hair looks real pretty today.

June Cleaver: Well, you should know Eddie, being a talent scout."

    ...Bump

RIP for Ken Osmond and Eddie Haskell. What a perfect name and perfect embodiment of that character. So good it was difficult for him to break free as he grew older.

Peace to all who loved him.

Eddie Haskell is a timeless character. True to the dickhead stereotypes who have always been in our midst through the ages.

He sort of helped shaped my character, because I dodged a lot of dicks in my life that I recognized as transparent and shallow thanks to Eddie.

When I was in high school, there was a widely held belief - urban legend - that porn star John Holmes was actually Ken Osmond - Eddie Haskell. Me and my school pals argued and debated that issue for years.

RIP Ken. Eddie Haskell was a memorable character. o this day, my wife and I will describe kids we see with that disingenuous empathy as 'Eddie Haskells'.

Sad news Leave It To Beaver was one of my favorite sitcoms ever. They're was a streaming channel called Beaver and friends that shut down just a few weeks ago but I did get to watch every episode before it went down. All the kids on that show were very convincing characters and Eddie Haskell was one of the best on the show.
So thanks for all the laughs and entertainment you gave me as a child and then again in m later years. And thank you for posting this @tonray.

RIP Ken Osmond. He was a cop for almost 20 years too. I believe he got shot once , 5 bullets in the vest and one off his belt buckle. Very lucky...

As bad as his character was you kind of felt sorry for him. Don't remember his parents ever but Lumpy's dad was on the show.

True. I think I dodged a few Eddie's. Very possibly because I recognized them from the show.
